Al-Zn coated steel coil is another name for galvalume steel coil. It is a continuous hot-dip process that coats a sheet of carbon steel with an alloy of zinc and aluminum. Typically, the coating's composition is 1.5% silicon, 43.5% zinc, and 55% aluminum. This coating combines zinc's galvanic protection with aluminum's high resistance to corrosion.
